James D. Thomas, DDS
Dr. Thomas is a native of Novi, Michigan. He has been practicing dentistry here in Cass City since 1996.
Dr. Thomas, his wife Lynnae and their daughter Jannaeya live in Cass City.

Laura G.
Clinical Manager - Cass City (RDH, RDA)
Laura joined our team in July 2018. She has two professional dental degrees. She is licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist and has her certification in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide. She is also licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant. She is a graduate of Delta College and received her Associate’s Degrees in Applied Science for Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting. Her unique qualifications and multiple degrees, as well as her varied clinical experience makes her well qualified as our Clinical Manager. She works in our office as a Registered Dental Hygienist and a Registered Dental Assistant, in addition the her Clinical Manager duties.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, and has multiple farm animals and pets.
Kim
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Kim is originally from Harbor Beach. She completed her Dental Hygiene degree in 1997 at Kellogg Community College. She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories from dentistry, comfortable and happy to be receiving care. Getting to know her patients individually is what she prides herself on, to provide not only high quality dental care, but gentle, yet through care.
Kim and her husband Andy, are raising two girls and enjoy family time, being Michigan State Spartan fans, and spending time outdoors.
Laura F.
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Laura has been a Registered Dental Hygienist for over 10 years, and she joined our team shortly after she graduated. She enjoys seeing new patients and easing their fears about dentistry. Laura loves getting to know her patients and seeing them and their families enjoying their dental experiences at our office!
In her free time, Laura likes spending time with her husband and their three young sons.
Heather
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
Heather is a licensed Registered Dental Assistant. She has been in dentistry for over 20 years and has been at our office for over 17 years. She is enthusiastic, caring, and loves working with our team. Heather also loves her patients and looks forward to seeing them when they come in for appointments. Being a dental assistant is truly her passion.
Heather enjoys spending time with her family, and her dog. She also enjoys planting flowers, and watching hummingbirds.
Amanda
Dental Assistant
Amanda joined our team in the summer of 2020 during the mandated lockdown of dentistry. She initially joined our team to help document our processes and procedures that were changing as a result of the coronavirus. She has had some formal training in dental assisting, and has a desire to work as a Dental Assistant. We quickly moved her to a Dental Assistant position. She still works some with the business staff to help with receptionist duties.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Nayeli
Dental Assistant
Nayeli has recently joined our team as a dental assistant. She was trained as a dentist in Mexico City, Mexico. There she practiced as a dentist until meeting the man who is now her husband and moving to Michigan. She has spent several years learning English and working in a teaching capacity. Now that she has good command of the English language, she is very excited to get back into dentistry. She knows much about dentistry, and is learning how we do things in America. She helps Dr. Thomas improve his Spanish, and is a very nice addition to our team.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her two boys.
Lukas
Lukas is the bookkeeper at our office. He helps pay the bills and works with our accounting firm to keep the finances of the practice flowing smoothly.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, watching movies, learning about animals and national parks, and spending time with his friends and family.
Jannaeya
Jannaeya helps part time as a dental assistant, receptionist, and in the business office. As the daughter of Dr. James Thomas, she enjoys the entire process of dentistry, and is happy to help where needed.
While not working, she is continuing her education, practicing her piano, and working on her art projects. She enjoys her pet rabbits, and spending time with her friends and family.
